Am I just stupid/ignorant or is my social anxiety/depression just that bad?

Im going to make this short.

I started my job yesterday for customer service so I work with lotto machines and the cash register (note this is my first job in 3/4 years, but in the past I just worked at the library putting away books)

I was there for 8 hours and the guy there taught me how to use the cash

Im going to make this short.

I started my job yesterday for customer service so I work with lotto machines and the cash register (note this is my first job in 3/4 years, but in the past I just worked at the library putting away books)

I was there for 8 hours and the guy there taught me how to use the cash register and the lotto machine a few times but almost everytime, during the whole time I was there I made mistakes.

I know how to use them for the most part but I get so frickin nervous my mind goes blank and I'll just click on something I see first for whatever if that makes sense. Idk my nervousness is making me look like I have no idea what I'm doing. But is that all it is or is it because I AM dumb? Help 🙁

(I'm 21 btw)
Yes I know everyone makes mistakes, especially during their first try, but I felt like I made way too many. The guy who trained me just looked tired I couldn't handle it myself.

You are absolutely not dumb. Most people don't catch onto things immediately. Also, I've learned in my life that I'm prone to messing things up on the job (especially when I'm new)but instead of beating myself up mentally on how stupid I could be, I learn from it. Sometimes you literally have to eff up to understand how to fix the problem. It's a way of learning. Don't be so hard on yourself 😊
Shannon W:
Just remember there's nothing you can push on the cash register that can't be undone by someone with a key. It's okay to make mistakes while you're learning. Deep breaths
Misty:
You're nervous. You already know that. Give yourself a break.
juan:
drink passion fruit..believe me.
