I applied for medicaid when i was pregnant in jan of 2015, my daughter was born in August and i signed her up or medicaid a few weeks after her birth. I thought i had updated my home address but apparently it was not updated so i didn't get the info i needed to reapply. I was told my insurance is expired. I just reapplied for medicaid yesterday. I know i qualify as i don't have any income currently and am living with my fiance's father. I have my daughters 6 month appt for her vaccinations and now am unsure if she is covered. Since she got medicaid this past sept is she still covered? and how long does it take to be approved to have your medicaid renewed?

Other answer:

Chaos:
You might not qualify, if your fiance's father's income is high enough. It's HOUSEHOLD income that counts, not just your income. It's harder to qualify if you're an adult, if you're not pregnant.

How long your daughter's medicaid is "good for" depends on what state you are in. Some states give it to kids for a year at a time, others give it for six months at a time. No one here could possibly know.

Flower:
Your fiance and his father's income must be counted on an application for regular Medicaid. You may be able to get Medicaid for child only but you can always go to any county clinic and pay for vaccinations.
npk:
You do not necessarily qualify now as eligibility is based on household income, not just your individual income. As for your daughter's current enrollment status, obviously you should check with your state's Medicaid authorities or caseworker. Each state is different.
Bob:
yes will not be covered UNTIL you get notice that you have been accepted again
