Don't know what to do with my life??

I'm 18 and don't know what to do with my life. I am currently working full-time as a security guard and I hate it. I plan on going back to school asap. I don't want to be working minimum wage my whole life. I at least want a job that's well respected. I want to go back to school but I don't know

I'm 18 and don't know what to do with my life. I am currently working full-time as a security guard and I hate it. I plan on going back to school asap. I don't want to be working minimum wage my whole life. I at least want a job that's well respected. I want to go back to school but I don't know what to major in. I'm debating between communications, business, psychology, or just go to fire academy and become a firefighter which would be cool. I want to go to where the money is so I'm assuming that would be business. I want to be a business consultant because they travel the world and make up to 6 figures but I'm still undecided on what I want to do. Any advice?

Yes, I have a few ideas for you but I am not going to write a whole volume of information. I am just going to give you the name of the career and let you find out about it on your own. The best job on this earth is FISH and GAME WARDEN. You will be starting at $50,000 per year and working from a pick-up truck, a boat or a small airplane. Yes, you will learn to fly if you want. Why not? You are watching over our wetlands and wildlands and taking care of wild animals that are wounded by stupid hunters. You will be investigating crimes and you will be studying geography and forensics and LAW. All you need is a high school diploma but an AA degree from a Community College will give you the additional education that you will need to get the full benefit from what you are doing everyday as a WARDEN. You will also be using psychology. Communications and business are good choices for you but I would become a Fish and Game Warden because of its vast amount of things to learn and know. It will give you the most interesting LIFE that you could ever ask for. I will stop right here. Go and find out about this career. Find an office near you and go talk to them.

It doesn't really matter what your undergrad degree is in unless you're going into something very specific (nursing, pharmacy, engineering). If you really want to go into business you're best off getting an MBA anyway. The short answer is — you don't need to know what you want to do at 18 to be happy and successful.
Judy:
It takes years of experience to recome a business consultant wih money like that, and most business consultants don't travel the world, they mostly go places like Chicago or Atlanta. Fire-fighting is decently paid, but is hard, dangerious work. Psychology or communications ccan be hard to find a job in. Research your major thoroughly and realisticlly before you choose.

Hmm! Keep thinking
