So basically two weeks ago i interviewed for an Operations Manager Trainee position at an E-commerce distribution center, I interviewed with the distribution center manager, and if i made it to the next step i would have to skype interview with the President of the company. After my first interview i was told that i should heat back in about a week.

Well two weeks passed and i didn't hear anything back, so I decided to go out on a limb and I emailed the president of the company directly, the problem was after I emailed him i realized i had sent it from the wrong email. I have a professional address and another one for other accounts and one i give to women and whatever, i didn't realize i was logged into my personal one which is kind of goofy and embarrassing.

I am 23 years old and i guess my question is are my chances as good as done for this job

Best Answer:

Kingkhan: You probably didn't get the job anyway, being 23 and lacking experience as a manager.

Kingkhan:
Ouch. That's quite nervy to email the President of a company directly after not hearing back. If they wanted to proceed further with your candidacy, Human Resources would have reached out to you. Do you think the President of the company is just sitting around waiting for an email directly from a candidate that Human Resources or the Hiring Manager didn't bother passing on?

As you hadn't heard anything you probably hadn't got the job anyway.
Bob:
You are toast
