How do I quit my job?

Okay so this summer I got a job working at a restaurant and it was a good, decent part-time job. I had to leave it because I was going back to school. I went back to work there about 6 days ago because I am back in town for winter break and I WANT TO QUIT. They are super understaffed so I have been working more

Okay so this summer I got a job working at a restaurant and it was a good, decent part-time job. I had to leave it because I was going back to school. I went back to work there about 6 days ago because I am back in town for winter break and I WANT TO QUIT. They are super understaffed so I have been working more hours than I wanted to (I said I wanted to work 20-25 and they scheduled me for 25 but I am always working later), and the managers are just disrespectful. They have been really rude about scheduling issues (and I mean, I get it, they are understaffed but I don't deserve to be treated rudely when I am nothing but hard-working and respectful), and I really want to quit. However, I am already scheduled for next week and I would feel bad quitting when I am already scheduled AND they are understaffed, but if I wait too long then they will come out with a new schedule and the whole problem will start over again. HELP! I am so afraid of confrontation

You're only doing this for a couple of weeks. Suck it up and finish. I don't know where employees get the idea that they dictate the scheduling. The employer schedules the number of people he needs to work a particular shift. You're on break. You don't have school hours that need to be worked around. Just think about how much more money you'll have in your pocket when you go back to school.
Casey Y:
Finish off the schedule and let them know not to schedule you for the next week.
xfilesfan:
Give two weeks notice.
