I've been working 5 days at Burger King. I am 16 and have a busy schedule with school. The whole staff is pretty trashy and the managers are rude and irresponsible. My name isn't on the schedule and I'm expected to come in last minute. Point is I really don't like it and I should not be treated the

You've only been there 5 days, it's not like you will get a decent reference anyway. You can quit however you like.
Word to the wise. If you think you're going to be treated well at any job, you might as well get over that right now. This could turn out to be the best job you've ever had.
Also keep in mind: an employer is not obligated to work around your schedule. You are required to work around theirs.
Either put yours 2 weeks in ( it looks better ), or Quit. School is way more important!
I used to work at burger king in Utah and the managers were awful along with the childish employees. I'd get called in saying I was supposed to work, after I just checked the schedule and I didn't work until 3 days after. Then one time I called and asked my manager if I was scheduled tomorrow and she told me no. After 4 hrs I started getting NUMEROUS calls saying I was supposed to come in and that they are swamped. I was unable to come in.. So the next morning I come in and the manager who told me I didn't work that day , took me outside and yelled at me aggressively. I have had enough. The next day a manager (male and inappropriate to women) calls me and asks (last minute) if I can come in and close. I told him no, I'm at the hospital with my sist– that bastard hung up on me. So the next day I QUIT. Every job application I fill out will always give a chance to give a reason on quitting. Good luck
you quit a job by writing a letter saying you are quitting and giving it to your mangager
however think before you do this – what does it say about you if you quit after only 5 days – and if other employers get to hear about it
also are other employers any better you start at the bottom of the heap as a part time young worker
What do you expect us to do about it? Learn to accept it and get along with the group. No job is perfect. Although not liking anyone and having such complaints when you only started is awfully pre-judgmental. Could it be that the managers are just very busy and you are misreading them as rude and irresponsible?
Since you are obviously living at home, go ahead and quit. But realize that when you need the money to survive, you are going to have to deal with it, instead of just quitting if you don't like it.
I don't know why there is an assumption about two weeks notice all the time on this website, the notice period could be anything, it might be a week, two weeks or a month, you have to find out what it is if you don't already know, don't just give them two weeks because it could be wrong.
Jobs are hard to find. Quit if you want but do not expect to find one that you like. Entry level jobs are not much fun.
1. Ask to speat to your boss in a serious manner, let him know your school schedule, wow it down if you have to, or put it on the computer
2.Tell him you appreciate working with him, and you ate putting in your two weeks notice, state your last day, in worn form
Or, You need to ask your bossite for a transfer to another location due to having a hard time getting to work
You get a job at McDonalds.
