How to sell Jewelry online?

I create handmade bracelets, and recently I decided to create a store on Storenvy.com. My store has only been open for a month and I haven't had any sales yet. I know that maybe I need to be a little more patient, but it just seems like my store isn't really getting noticed at all.

I haven't really

I create handmade bracelets, and recently I decided to create a store on Storenvy.com. My store has only been open for a month and I haven't had any sales yet. I know that maybe I need to be a little more patient, but it just seems like my store isn't really getting noticed at all.

I haven't really done much online advertising because I just don't know where online I could advertise/promote my store. A few months ago I had an Etsy store (didn't have any sales there either) but I gave up my Etsy store because they charge you listing fees for every item you list, and I really didn't think that was fair (especially since I wasn't making any sales).

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for places where I can advertise/market my jewelry online? Any tips/ideas would be greatly appreciated because I'm starting to feel like I'm wasting my time.
@check, I have a Facebook fan page for my jewelry and I have some close friends who were nice enough to become Fans, but it would be nice if I could branch out beyond my friends!

You may find ultimately that the listing fees on marketplaces are a bargain compared to the paid advertising cost to bring prospects to your own new site. Typically ecommerce sites make one sale per 50 – 150 visitors, moderately priced pay per click ads might cost you 30 cents a visitors, it's easy to see how a sale might end up costing you $30 to make.

Adding lots of text content like longer descriptions along with fashion articles might help get better search engine listing, spending lots of time on social sites and forums can help attract some traffic and boost your rep as well, Pinterest is one with a large female demographic that some have done well with.

Etsy has sponsored search results allowing you to pay to be found this is one way to be found amoung the 1 Million active sellers there.

Jewelry is a somewhat saturated, highly competitive field, sellers are turned away from flea markets that already have too many jewelry consessions.

Herman:
A marketplace website is any website where potential buyers can search through a wide range of items from many different sellers. Many marketplace websites sell a broad range of content, but those that specialize in homemade items or homemade jewelry may make it easier for you to draw the right client base to your online shop.

l worked as a freelancer for http://www.ecomarket.com/ which markets eco-friendly products including handmade jewelry on their website . It is owned by Swedish based Jason Dainter and you can visit the website after the upgrade to register your products. You pay 10% commission when your product is sold via their website. Which is great because you only pay after making a sale. Good lucky.
