I didnt get fired my boss just waived my two weeks
Being let go is the same as being fired even though you put in your two week notice your boss let you go technically you were fired so that means I am going send my boys over your house to butt f-ck you for getting fired. If you don't remember we made a bet if you got fired on more time you were going to get butt f-cked by a bunch guys.
Well you should evaluate why. If you hated your job then yes, be happy. But what would concern me the most is the fact that they let you go like that.
Every-time I have given my two weeks I was offered a raise to stay, which offended me. That always just reinforced my decision to leave. If they let you go like that then to me it would be a sign that either you weren't happy with them, or they weren't happy with you.
This a normal occurrence at many companies. It is not considered a firing. You quit and gave proper notice so don't worry about it. Good Luck on your next job.
You should be delighted. You can move on. You missed out on two weeks' pay, but if you were not happy there, it was best to make a clean break.
I would say yes, since you were quitting anyway, and people rarely quit jobs that they like.
Except now you have a termination on your record that may come back to bite you in the a*ss if you need to collect unemployment benefits later.
That will go against you
There's no "should" about it. You feel how you feel.
But if you were quitting, why care either way?
if you was already planning on quitting, then yes you should be happy
not really, you just missed two weeks pay checks
Yes. it simplifies things for you and you can move on.
