I SELL TSHIRTS FOR CHARITY, DO I HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX?

Other answer:

PATSY:
You must collect sales tax on all taxable goods sold and remit that to the state. This applies to you as well as to the charity itself.

While the charity may be exempt from paying the tax on goods that it purchases for its own use in carrying out it's charitable mission, goods sold to other buyers are fully taxable. The buyer is the one paying the tax, not the charity.

that might depend if this is an on going thing or a one time offer
if it is ongoing yes, you need to get a resale certificate, charge and collect sales tax

Ask your state's sales tax people. All states are different.

Yes you do. Nonprofits are exempt from INCOME taxes, not all taxes.
