The only jobs you could get at your age would be babysitting, or doing a paper round. But if your dad is against you getting a job, there's not much you can do about it, because you'd need your dad's (and your mum's) consent for you to get hired anywhere due to your age. Ask your dad if you can have pocket money, I used to have pocket money when I was a kid. But you've got your whole adult life to work until you retire, your main priority should be schoolwork.
Eddy:
You are too young. If you get a job, you will be so tired out that you won't be able to read a paragraph of your homework.

You are at the age where you are supposed to be learning and getting good grades to prepare you for high school. Do you think you are able to take trips at 13? You are not. Stay at home and study. There are 60 years where you will be working. Stop the nonsense.

You do what your parents want you to do. Right now your main priority is school – that IS your job – and it will be until you graduate. Jobs are secondary to that. You don't need any more clothes than what is provided you by your parents. As for trips – what are you talking about? Discuss an allowance which you should have; your parents should be teaching you about saving and spending money anyway and an allowance is a great place to start.

If you're in the US, companies can't hire 13 year old because of child labor laws. Even after you turn 14, most states require you to get working papers from your school.

2-4 hours surely can't hurt your school work, in fact it actually might make it better, you will have less time to fool around and let studying til the last minute
he may not be aware but working is also educational, it starts the ball rolling in developing good work ethnic and that will serve you well your entire life–can't beat getting educated and getting paid for it

Smart dad. Remember, in today's work world………..employers de NOT hire anyone UNDER 18-years of age.

You really cannot get a job other than baby sitting at 13
