I'm interested in buying a franchise and I'm wondering do you pay the franchise fee all at once or do you pay it on a monthly basis?

Other answer:

that will depend entirely on the issuer of the franchise
he might require a specific amount up front, and then there will be fees each month that will apply as a monthly expense
the issuer might have in place a payment plan, maybe a smaller down payment and a specific amount each month until the full amount is paid off
this does not eliminate a monthly fee, that will go on for as long as you operate the franchise even tho your purchase price has been fulfilled
the monthly fee is continuing to use their name and contacts, once you have fulfilled the purchase and you want to change the name of your store, you can do that and resign the franchise
of course if the location belongs to the franchise you would not be able to do that, the location would have had to be your location separately
You pay both, as separate fees. Thee's an initial franchise fee which includes setup, training, equipment, product, and more. Then you share your profits with a monthly fee, in addition to further product purchases.
Both. You pay an upfront fee and then you owe a percentage every month.

Donald B:
You put down a large downpayment then pay monthly.
Try reading The websites AND documents relating to the contract.
.it varies greatly
up front, plus generally lots of other startup expenses.
