Ok.. firstly if you have a JOINT account with your wife, then she alone can't just close it or block access for you. She has the right to withdraw as much money as she wants, but thats it..

If your pay has gone into your old account, then its too late to get it back unless your wife hands the money over.

You talk of an account just closing today ?? What account – your joint account or your own account ? That makes no sense

Like Lolly says talk to HR NOW

Why did your other account close today?? That part doesn't make any sense.

There is time. If there is a direct deposit involved from the military, just about any bank will work with you to get this setup in time for the DD on the first. You need to go TODAY.
