My wife and I have about £35000 to invest at the end of March, what is the best way to proceed? Isa's have such a low interest rate!?

at present you can invest most of it in a non ISA because the law changes in april . you pay no tax on interest unless you make more than £1000 interest .so 30000 at 3% would be just under £1000 interest. some would suggest putting some in an ISA because when interest rates go up again the interest in a non ISA account could go into the taxable bracket

You have given us too little information, even if we were all financial experts. Go to a professional financial advisor or your bank for advice for your situation.

What is your timeframe? When will you need this money?
