I just ordered a small pizza, a side and a bottle of water online. The order was here really quickly and the delivery guy was polite. I asked where my water was and he said that he hadn't been told to deliver any to me. He showed me the ticket on the box which showed that I had been charged for the water.

He suggested I call the store and asked for the manager which I did.
I spoke to the manager who told me first of all that I hadn't ordered the water. I had to insist that I did and he then said that I hadn't been charged for it. I told him I had and he argued with me and said that there wasn't a problem because I was not charged. I told him that my confirmation email and the ticket on the pizza box said I was charged.
He put me on hold for a minute and then said he was checking something. He sounded really surprised and said, oh, you're actually right, you were charged but it's not my fault you didn't get the water. I'll add a credit to your account so you can get it with your order next time. I then hung up.
I know it's only a bottle of water but it is really the guy's attitude I was wanting to complain about. Who could I complain to if it is about the manager and what will happen?

BUT: OF COURSE YOU SHOULD CALL! He all but called you a liar. He was wrong and should be called out. Call their headquarters with the guys name and explain what happened. Its really not about getting free food, its about being treated right when you give a company your buisness. That is absurd!

This is sounding like me- which is not a good thing! Just get your water with your next order (if you order there again) and let it go.
