I am currently in highschool and graduate this year in june and im 19 i been getting my benefits since i was 18 but i graduate late because my mom waited 1 year to put me in school but my benefits terminated in august 2016 so i went and got my benefit back on and changed tp my right graduation date but they cut me off again this month so im broke with nothing to eat or anything but i called and asked why was i cut off they said because of the wrong graduation date which i said earlier and told me bring another paper signed by the school for the 3rd time so i visited the office today then this guy said it was because i turned 19 but if that was the case i should of been cut off a couple months ago i thought i receive these benefits until i graduate i have 6 more months until i graduate im confused on whats going on please give me info on what you guys think going on

Benefits terminate at age 18 unless a full-time high school student or severely disabled. If a full-time high school student, benefits are paid until graduation OR age 19 and 2 months – whichever comes first. So even though you haven't yet graduated, benefits for you end at age 19 and 2 months.

What we think doesn't matter – that is social security LAW and you can easily look it up yourself. Simply input "when do social security student benefits end?"

Blubber:
The law states that you get benefits until you turn 18 OR if you haven't graduated High School until you graduate or turn 19, whichever comes first.
You have already turned 19 so no more benefits for you.

What is going on is exactly what they told you. It is because you turned 19. You should have been cut off a couple of months ago, but they screwed up and paid you too much, perhaps because of the wrong graduate date.
