Use bubble wrap to ship boxes filled with books?

I sell book lots (about 15 softcover books) & always wrap them in bubble wrap. I also use packing packer to fill in any gaps of the box. Can I skip using the bubble wrap, or is it a must?

I want the books to arrive in good condition with no problems.

Best Answer:

Elaine M: Unless the box is being shredded en-route, the books inside should be fine. I'd put them in a plastic bag in case the box is set on a porch in the rain so nothing gets wet inside, but bubble wrap seems pretty much unnecessary for these items.

you simply want to protect them from damage that can be on the package in transit, bubble wrapis one way, crumpled newspaper another, not requried to use bubble wrap just handier
