Who's in charge of enforcing deed restriction on rural land?

I bought 11 acres outside of city limits in rural Texas. I was approached by another land owner who said I need 20 acres to hunt out in BFE and he's been harassing me when he see me out at the property. He showed me his deed restriction but I've never got any restrictions when I bought the property so now

Your lawyer should have informed you of all restrictions placed on your deed of
property. All rural Texas has many restrictions regarding any hunting within a
certain number of yards of any other neighboring property. It is strictly enforced
by the game wardens who will charge you as well as give you hefty fines or jail
time.
linkus86:
The county Sheriff. Your neighbor may simply be misquoting the law by referring to it as a deed restriction. It could be a local law. In any case, the Sheriff would know for sure.

You need to go to the court that issue deeds to confirm if there is a restriction or not.
acermill:
If that requirement is a local ordinance, it will not appear on your deed/title. You need to check with the local town officials to determine whether or not the restriction is valid on your property.
WRG:
It would be recorded with the Deed in the county clerks office. If it exists at all.
