Why can everyone can park in front of my house yet I am not allowed to have crossover?

Other answer:

sukhi:
Anyone can park anywhere on a street as long as there are not parking restrictions on the street, in front of your home doesn't belong to you, it is public..no idea what you mean by a "crossover"
loanmasterone:
What type of cross over are you wanting to build?

If you are speaking of building something that would go across the street this would never happen. The city would never issue a permit to allow this type structure. The city is in charge of all public property to include the streets and would have to approve or disapprove any structure that would or might impede any street.

It would be nice to know what cross over you want to build. You have referenced the building of this cross over in several post.

On a public street anyone might use any parking space they so desire to include parking directly in front of your house. No one is able to restrict individuals from parking on a public street.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

Alice:
Please explain what you mean by "crossover." If you mean that your neighbors won't let you park in front of their homes, then you should have a discussion with them, one on one, about where people are allowed to park in your neighborhood.
tro:
public streets are for the public, they are not assigned parking spots, first come first serve so to speak
I have no clue what you mean by a crossover but if it has anything to do with the public street you would have to contact your local city officials
Pork-chop of Doom:
Public street……it's not UP to you to decide where people can & cannot park, nor is it up to you where a crossover can be placed…
Bob:
no good reason
